I've found finally the time to post something of my holiday.....so as the title says this year I've been in Tuscany (a region of central Italy famous for its wine and its landscapes).

This photo is taken from the beach and it shows that in this region in particular there's always a pine forest before you reach the sea. It's really useful because if you want do a picnic you can do it in the forest, which in summer has a peculiarity: there are cicadas that chirr. They're rare where I live and show that the place is not polluted.

These are tipical landscapes of August. It's a pity that I could not see the fields of sunflowers.....

This is the road to arrive in Volterra, a town that is specialized in processing alabaster...

This is the square of Siena that is famous for its annual horse race.

The exams are finally over!!!!! This means that I'm free and I started studying japanese (only hiragana for now), because I want to study it at the university.
There are problems though, because the university in which I want to enroll accepts only 500 people basing on the school-leaving examination's mark and this means that I haven't the guarantee to be accepted.
There is another university that has the similar course (linguistic mediation) but there isn't japanese but chinese. This university is private and accepts 800 people (this means that it'll accept my application).

So the problem is: try to apply at the first university and wait for the results or apply to the second (but this means that I won't study japanese) ?

And I can't apply to both and wait for the results of the first university, because in the moment I apply for the second I have to pay the first instalment of the university and I'll be accepted for sure.

There is also the problem of money. I don't want to be a burden for my parents (they will pay the university) so I really want to go to the first university (it's public and costs less).

I don't know what to do, besides I still don't know my high school's final mark. I think that I'll wait for the result and decide to apply or not for the first university basing on it. If the mark is equal or more than 70, I'll apply.

What do you think? Do you have some advice?

I've just finished to watch an anime called Basilisk.

By the order of Shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa, ten ninja from the Iga and the Kouga clans must fight to the death in order to determine who will be the next Tokugawa Shogun, with the surviving clan ruling for the next thousand years. But Oboro of the Iga clan and Gennosuke of the Kouga clan have fallen deeply in love. Now these star-crossed lovers have been pitted against each other. Can their romance conquer a centuries-old rivalry? Or is their love destined to end in death?

It's a sad (shojo) anime with ninja......it's very great and I recommend it aven if  it made me cry, especially the last episode.....

289 dead......28000 evacuated....

Recently in Italy a law has been half approved : from September the students have to wear a school uniform. I don't know how you think but I' don't dislike the idea to wear a school uniform, in fact when I was in primary school I always dreamt to wear an uniform like the students wear in Japan!!!

What do you think? Do you think that wearing a school uniform is a bad idea? After all many countries have adopted them for some time....
